The Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs (OVPFA), which includes the Center for the Advancement of Teaching (CAT), takes a holistic approach to faculty support, development, and collaboration. The unit oversees key processes and events throughout the life course of faculty members, from initial hiring through to retirement. Whether it’s providing assistance, consultations, training or programming, OVPFA strives to help faculty navigate Temple’s resources, grow professionally, connect across disciplines, and achieve excellence.
