Interdisciplinary education, research, and collaboration are critical foundations to innovation, thought leadership and student success at Temple. Connected to the Interdisciplinary Collaboration Committee’s recommendations, the Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs is focused on improving support for interdisciplinary activities and connecting efforts across divisions.
The Faculty Development and Collaboration Hub (FDC-Hub) is a collaborative initiative led by Faculty Affairs, Information Technology Services, the Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR), University Libraries, the Graduate School, and Academic Affairs. The Hub will provide a one-stop-shop for advice and connection to people and pathways that can help guide and advance interdisciplinary efforts.
One pathway to advance interdisciplinary efforts is the new I-SPARK (Interdisciplinary Strategies for Promoting and Advancing Research and Knowledge), led by the Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR).
