What is the Faculty Success Platform?
The Faculty Success Platform is a secure, easy-to-use system that helps faculty maintain information about their teaching, research, scholarship, creative activity, service, clinical work, and other professional accomplishments in one place. The platform is designed with a clear goal: reducing administrative burden for faculty.
Enter Information Once
Faculty Success allows faculty to maintain a single record of their professional activities and accomplishments rather than repeatedly entering the same information for different purposes. Information stored in the platform can be used to support annual reviews, promotion and tenure dossiers, curriculum vitae preparation, faculty profiles, and other institutional needs.
Keep Information Current
Faculty can update information throughout the year as activities occur, making it easier to maintain an accurate record of accomplishments and eliminating the need to reconstruct information months later.
Reduce Manual Data Entry
Faculty Success incorporates information from University systems, including personal and contact information, scheduled teaching, and faculty assignments. The platform is also designed to draw information from trusted scholarly sources such as Web of Science, PubMed, and Google Scholar, helping to reduce manual data entry.
Phased Implementation
Faculty Success will be implemented across the University in phases over the next two to three years. Faculty will be onboarded gradually, with advance communication, training, and support provided throughout the process.
Focus on the Work That Matters Most
By reducing repetitive administrative work and providing a centralized record of accomplishments, Faculty Success will help faculty spend less time on reporting and more time focused on teaching, research, creative activity, clinical work, and service.
