New Faculty Orientation

New Faculty Orientation at Temple University provides incoming faculty with resources to support their roles and opportunities to connect with colleagues from various schools and colleges. This event is held annually during the week before the Fall Semester begins. All new full-time faculty will receive an invitation in mid-summer.

Sessions offer a discussion of evidence-based teaching practices, emphasizing strategies for serving Temple’s diverse student body, networking opportunities with experienced faculty from Temple’s schools and colleges, and a resource fair that introduces offices and programs that support research, wellness, campus engagement, academic success, and more. By the end of New Faculty Orientation, participants will have the knowledge and tools needed to confidently begin their work at Temple.   A light continental breakfast and a deli lunch will be provided.
